ok, i'll be taking the earlier bus together with rodney, ah zhong and caroline. so 1700 ppl, meet at golden mile at 4. Make your own way down.

Then... the rest, meet at Golden mile at 1845, LATEST by 1900, LATEST OF THE LATEST by 1915. The bus isn't gonna wait for you. The tix for the bus are with Kuku. So ku, this is what you gotta do. Bring the tix to the Alisan counter, it's QUITE a small booth so you might miss it, but it's somewhere around the center of the front of the building. Then the person should give you TWO number plates for the bus, cos you guys have to switch bus after going through malaysian customs. Then after that just get on the bus loh.

by the way, go early to golden mile and eat tom yum. To me it's the best in Singapore cos it's damn authentic. haha. 1700 people, that's why we're meeting at 1600. If you dun wanna eat then come by 1630. :)

Then when you guys get there, take a cab to "The Original Backpacker's Travellers Inn,60 A, Jalan Sultan, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia". then we'll rendezvous there. :) The prob with the inn is that there are several lookalikes just beside it, so... when you get there look for the KING's CAFE, the inn we're staying at is right above. if you all get lost or something, gimme a call using public phone or someone who has auto-roam. eh, and one more thing. Those of you who haven't paid me yet, change to ringgit and bring it along or we wont have enough cash to pay for the hotel stay. Ok? and yes, i'm running broke.

ok, here's the deal on the accoms. We'll be staying at a backpackers inn, but we probably cant all stay in the same type of room. aiyah, let you all see the email i got from the guy there. :)

Sorry, didn't include the rates in the previous mail, as your group is pretty big for our hostel, I cant promise you precisely what type of rooms I can offer you, however you're looking at RM 15 per person. eg if it's a fan room for two person, its RM 30.00 for the room and if it's a ac room with attached bath, it's RM 60.00 per room, ac tripple room RM 48.00 @ RM16.00 per person.

so... that's how it goes. Stevie is quite a gay name and he misspelled "triple" but through other correspondence with him he seems like a nice guy, so he doesn't seem like the type to rip us off. :) so... since we might be staying in different kinds of rooms, I can only suggest that we give the better rooms to the charbos. wow... us deeblocker guys are so nice. haha.

so... lodging-wise i'll print two copies of the email that serves as a confirmation letter. Then... the 1700 people will bring one to check in with and chill in a room till the rest of us get there, then i'll bring the 1930 people and check in later loh. 1700 people, if they ask you to pay first then tell the guy i'll pay when i get there, 2 and a half hours after you guys.

first briefing

Hello peepur. anyway, i decided to set this up cos i dont wanna flood my already flooded email inbox and i dun wanna put it on the blog and irritate the shit out of the other deeblockers who cant go. haha. :)

so, here's the deal on getting to KL. Coming back is another matter, I'll get details from YM then i'll put it here.

going there
ok, going there is gonna be abit different, cos we had to split two into two batches cos there weren't enough seats. There'll be two buses leaving, one at 1700, one at 1930. 4 people have to take the 1700 bus, and the other 8 will be on the 1930 bus. but... consolation to the 1700 people is that the ticket is gonna be $10 cheaper, but the bus is more or less the same size. :)

ok, here's the tentative 1700 people:
Rodney, Xuan Jie, Jung Seong and Ah Zhong.

Then the 1930 people will be:
Me, Caroline, Pat, Yi yun, Ivan, Lionel, Ku and Kai Wen

Check-in is half an hour before departure, so i'll give you 1700 guys the receipt then show it to the bus people then they'll tell you which bus to get on.

sorry 1700 guys, no charbos going with you. but... this is a lan lan cos all the people listed here have other commitments, like SECC trial camp, work and court (don't ask...). Any of the 1700 guys got work then HAVE to go at 1930? btw, the 1930 bus costs $40 and the 1700 bus is $30.

Then... because our bus leaves so early, we have to extend accomodation one day. So i need another $5 from the 1700 people and $15 from the 1930 people. dammit balls right. That's what happens when we make bookings so late...

Anyway, the 1700 guys go there and check-in with my name, the reservations been made at 2 hotels. haha. but once the inns get back to me about reservation i'll take the cheaper one, then pass you guys the confirmation email before you guys go. :)

And, i suggest everybody meet in hall then we go at our respective timings. or would you all prefer to meet at Golden Mile itself? well, that's up to you. just dont be late. :) 1700 people meet in hall at 1500, or at Golden Mile at 1600? and 1930 people meet at 1730 in hall or 1830 at Golden Mile loh. aiyah, up to you all la. By the way, the food at Golden Mile is DAMN NICE. I recommend eating the tomyum there cos it ROCKS. You might get constipation or diarrhoea from it but it's worth it. No shit. So go there earlier and EAT. :)

then for the return journey, ivan will leave there at 1030 on his own, cos he wants to come back and watch clarissa's performance (right ivan?) and the rest of us, YM included, will take the 1330 bus back. :)
